It is important to choose a fan size suitable for your needs and the size of your room. As a general rule, for rooms between 75 to 175 square feet, fans with a 42″ blade span will provide optimum airflow. When installing in rooms up to 350 square feet, fans with a 52″ blade span are recommended.
